What up everybody Young ro jalenguy here and i know i have been out for a while AGAIN but I'm here to talk about Acids and bases and not the acids that you use to burn your own legs off no no no were talking about substances that release positively charged hydrogen ions if say it enough times it makes you sound smart.SO anyway.Acids are used salad dressings that contains ascetic acid.Lemons,limes and orange have a sour taste because they contain citric acid.
Now its for BASES and nooo not the bases the drum players rock out to because that's just boring (sarcasm) Bases as in substances that can accept hydrogen ions again if you say that enough you WILL sound like Jimmy Neutron hahahaha soooo here are some stuff that are acids so that means no drink the dangreous things GOT IT?
Hey guys as you've noticed I'm been out...WITH BIEBER FEEEVER but know really I've been out but I'm back and I'm back with some more stuff with the periodic table.
Soooo basicly what your going to be learning about is OXIDATION when say you have to say in a deep voice or somehow it doesnt sound as awesome.So OXDATION involes what? Thats right BORON.Noooo im just kidding its Oxygen and oxygen is a apart of N.O.F go look it up in the periodic table upper right corner and what N.O.F likes to do is take other elements stuff away so for example (and dont worry im not going to use salt as an example because salt is used as an example to much) so for example boron is just sittin there minding his on beezwax and theen HOLY PLUTONIUM one of the members of N.O.F comes up and takes one of its electrons so it would look like thhis boron has 2 electrons oxygen comes up and takes one it would look like this C minus 1 C-1

Do you like my title is it awesome?.Anyway I'm here to tell you a little about ionic bonds just to let you know i know nothing about this so I'm doing my research and doing that.There are three types of bonds such as metallic bond,covalent t bond and ionic.First we have metallic bond:electrons that are not given away between elements,but are arranged so that they are shared.
Another Thing i want to talk is CHEMICAL REACTIONS yeah.Lets jump right in to this sea of science or ocean, river,lake,creek...bathtub...toilet whatever you want to call it.The first thing that causes CHEMICAL REACTIONS is when atoms gains,lose or shares electrons so.So i bet your asking (this is you)-> Jay what awesome things happen when the CHEMICAL REACTIONS happen.Well random person Bob that i don't know and i picked your name because i like the name Bob.So Bob when CHEMICAL REACTIONS happen energy is released so.Example NACI is table salt so yea thanks guys and enjoy this table salt guy because he is NACI. Hey wuts up guys I'm here to talk about the periodic table by the way i really don't have any good puns but if I get one i will try to throw in there.So the PERIODIC TABLE OF ELEMENTS(really deep voice) is a table of all the elements such as H2O,Chlorine and others.Well some elements are kinda weird to pronounce like praseodymium.
Alright next we have groups and columns those things separate metals from non - metals so you don't get uranium mixed up with H2o.Next we have the symbol witch is a letter or letters that symbolize the element example:Chlorine is Cl and Nickle is Ni...do u get the picture here guys.Another thing is the atomic number wich gives the number of protons in the element i will leave pics below. Hey whats up you guys Jalen here with the history of atoms i know fun right...right? yea i know so lets go back,back BACK IN TIME.So in 1808 John Dalton published his theory of matter but still he didn't know anything about protons neutrons and electrons.So in this time no one knew what was inside in atoms but around 1897 J.J Thompson was investigating electricity when he identified and electrical charged particle that he called a electron, but a scientist in New Zealand Ernest Rutherford put a a thin piece of gold tin foil he shot positively charged particles and saw that most of them passed through the tin foil but a few bounced off from his experiment he saw that atoms were mostly empty space.
Now guys were back in the future and talking about today's model which is basically when electron orbit around the nucleus which is made up of protons and neutrons.Protons are subatomic partcles that have positively charged particles and you have your neutrons which are negatively charged and neutrons that have no charged. thanks guys and my friend Sam the Scientist will be staying here for a while so if you guys have any questions here's your guy THX CYA
Wuuuz up guys Jalen here with the the Atoms family.The Atoms family are not an ordinary family the not that big basically there a small famly if you know what i mean (wink wink).So if you want to know more about the Atoms you came to the right place.Alright so these two sisters are very diffrent one who is named Nerdy Nelda is not really exiting she iz very nuetral never smiles but somehow never frowns she kind of looks like this -> O-O.Now Perky Patty Proton is very,very,VERY perky always keeps a smile on her face but i think sometimes she gets cheek cramps.Both Nerdy Nelda and Peky Patty have a hangout that is called the Nucleas Arcade in the Center of a couple a streets and highway that there little brother Elliot Electron likes to ride his bike on i guess you can say that he always need to blow off some steam because he always angry because his to sisters wont let him in at there hangouts so he just rides the streets of the Nucleas streets that can hold up to 2 atoms.The science street that can hold up to 8 atoms.Elliots favorite place is the is the superhighway that holds up to 18 atoms he rides with no fear on his bike around and around again thanks for reading CYA PS: A couple of new characters will be appering on the blog so next time look out for some characters on the next blog post. :D
